With a background in design from the Clover Park Technical College Interior Design Program and a degree in sustainable design from The Evergreen State College, Barnes brings over 12 years of industry experience to the table. As an Olympia native and a certified Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) through the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), Barnes is dedicated to staying on top of industry trends and delivering top-notch designs.

We hear it from our clients all the time, “I’m not good at visualizing all of these things” but our project developer, Alex, has been hard at work to bring a new dimension to our design experience. Cheers to a Remarkable Year with Lifespan!

Hello Lifespan Construction family and friends,

What an incredible ride 2023 has been for us at Lifespan Construction! As we wind down the year, I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news and heartfelt gratitude with all of you.

First off, I am absolutely thrilled and honored to have received the Remodeler of the Year award from the Olympia Master Builders. I am incredibly grateful for the support of our fantastic team and our wonderful clients.

But the celebrations don't stop there! Chris was awarded the prestigious Norman A Paulsen Hall of Fame award. Chris's dedication and contributions to the construction industry have been truly outstanding, and I am privileged to work alongside such a talented and passionate individual.

In the spirit of celebrating our team, I am delighted to announce the winners of the Lifespan Golden & Silver Hammer awards (voted on by their co-workers). Our exceptional Office Administrator, Debbie Otos, was awarded the Golden Hammer, while our talented Lead Carpenter, Sean B, received the Silver Hammer. These awards recognize their outstanding contributions and commitment to excellence in their respective roles. Kudos to both Debbie and Sean for their hard work and dedication!
